Organize Forms with Tabs
Use tabbed forms to structure extensive information into separate, navigable sections. Add multiple tabs, populate them with fields, and adjust their presentation to streamline data entry and viewing.
Create Tabbed Sections
Add a Tabs Container
To organize form content into distinct sections, drag the "Tabs Container" component onto your form canvas. This creates a container that holds multiple tabs for your form content. For more information, refer to the "Tabs Container" article.
Add Additional Tabs
To create more sections for organizing information, drag the "Tab" component into the existing tabs container. Repeat this for each additional tab needed to separate information.
Populate and Style Tabs
Add Fields to a Tab
To collect specific data points within a tab, select the tab. Then, drag a field component (e.g., "Text Input," "Dropdown") and drop it onto the selected tab. The field is now part of that tab, ready for user input.
Ensure Correct Field Placement
When adding fields to a tab, hover the field directly over the tab's name to ensure it nests correctly within that specific tab.
Rename a Tab
To give each tab a meaningful name, select the tab. In the properties panel, navigate to the "Presentation" properties and update the "Label" field. The tab's displayed name updates to your new label.
