Overview
Create dashboards to display and filter form data, providing valuable insights into your workflows.
Accessing the Dashboard Creator
Navigate to Create and select Dashboard.
You can start with a template or a blank dashboard.
Dashboard Components
The Component Selector on the left-hand side contains various panes, organizational tools, and filters.
The Table Pane displays submission data within the dashboard.
Connecting a Submission Query
Navigate to the Admin tool and select Submission Query.
The following example is an extremely basic Submission Query that Gets Submissions by ID. This can later be connected to a dashboard, if desired. The Submission Query essentially drives all of the data that will be shown on the dashboard.
Adding Filters
Add filters to further refine the dashboard data. Connect a filter to the respective header field to filter forms by different fields
For the example using the screenshots above and below, the Compliant label relates to the Header Field "comp-noncompstatus"
Another thing that is important to know with Filters, is that users can set a predefined value for the parameter. For example, in the screenshot above, the user is setting the field "comp-noncompstatus" to a value of "compliant" so that whenever the Compliant filter is selected, it checks for the forms that have the "comp-noncompstatus" field = "compliant"
Header Fields
Header fields are properties shared by all forms.
You can add custom header fields in the form's header information. These fields can be used in dashboard filters and columns.
Table Pane Configuration
Name tables (e.g., "Table 1").
Add Table Pane Columns to the table by connecting them to header fields, such as "Form Type" and "Version."
Adjust the column width as needed.
Assigning Dashboards to Users/Groups
In the Admin tool, navigate to Security, then Groups.
Edit a group and add the dashboard to the group. Users in the group will have access to the dashboard in their inbox.
