Retrieve iOS Mobile Application Logs

Overview

Access and share application logs to assist with troubleshooting the Mirata iOS Mobile App. Logs are stored in the Files app within the FormsInbox folder.

How to Access the Log File

Step-by-step
  1. Open the Apple Files app on your iOS device

  2. Click "On My iPad"/"On My iPhone"

  3. Open the FormsInbox folder

    Note: If you have multiple versions of the Mirata app on your device (for example, both the QA and Production apps), you'll see more than one FormsInbox folder. Select the one that corresponds with the app you were having issues with. You should be able to tell the folders apart based on their names in this case.

  4. The file named "mirata-forms-logYYYYMMDD.txt" is the log file
    Note: A new log file is created each time you start the app, so make sure the issue you're looking for information on has occurred since the last time you started the app.

How to Share the Log File

Step-by-step
  1. Long-click the file named "mirata-forms-logYYYYMMDD.txt" until you see the menu

  2. Click Share

  3. You can share the file however makes sense (i.e. email, Teams message, etc.)
